This was a very simple and clean top banner for a blog I stumbled across one day. I saw the original banner, and I just had to do something about it. This version really tied the whole page together and made it more balanced then the original banner did.
By Debra Wilson, on January 10th, 2012 On the Deb’s Losing It blog, the links page utilizes images for each link. To make the links look more organized and uniform, a series of simple buttons were created for each link category. They all feature the same border, and the same color and style of text, but the images and wording changes to match the category. You can see the images in action here.
By Debra Wilson, on September 30th, 2011 This was the look I flew on this site for Fall- Deep, rich colors, and some bright Fall leaves to welcome the season in.

When Spring rolled around, the colors were brightened up, and things were given more contrast and more life, from the background to the header image and menu tab colors.

By Debra Wilson, on September 30th, 2011 I found better screenshots of some of my older web designs as well as found some that I never posted before. Just click the Web Design link under Topics and have a look. There’s 7 new designs added for you to admire.
I may also have some clean-up work to do on Tracy of Art Resurrected’s site as well, just working on a game plan for that.

I basically spent my entire fifteen minutes of time on this one trying to make the hands look sort of like… well, hands. Hands are supposed to be one of the hardest things to draw, and this is my sad little attempt after spending ten minutes staring at my fist held out in front of my screen, tracing the negative space around it with my eyes. I added some low-opacity shading between the knuckles and around the pits of the elbows, then encircled the whole thing in an oval, and changed up the fonts a bit.
As I stated before, this is my only entry that I have done in Photoshop, and I am not very happy with it. I’m honestly considering redrawing the entire thing in Illustrator on the next go ’round.
