A new look for the SexyToms.com website. This is also a WordPress install, using the Atahualpa theme as a base. Atahualpa allows an extreme amount of customization. What I’ve done here barely scratches the surface of its capabilities.

Fall make-over for PrettyCanHurt.com featuring falling maple leaves and black bats. In three months, I’ll be doing this site over again for Winter! Since I am having so many issues with this laptop now, and my new one should be here by next Wednesday, and I just backed all my files up, I am going to put off working on the 30 day drawing challenge until I get everything set up on the new machine. Hopefully I will be ready to work again by Wednesday night. I’m definitely looking forward to it. This is the first of my “$5.00 portraits”. Here’s how she described herself. “I am a 30 yr old white female I am about 5’4″ 160lbs I am a single parent so my bigest passion is my kids but I also enjoy photography. I will be starting college soon. I’m an animal lover, love to dance, go for walks, camping, long drives to nowhere etc.” I focused on the photography and outdoorsy aspects of it, and took a wild guess at what she might look like aside from height/weight/proportion. Yes, I couldn’t manage to pick a hair color. Be glad I didn’t go really crazy and make it pink and blue! hehe You want your picture drawn in return for a $5.00 PayPal donation? Make your donation, and after I receive it, I’ll email you for some information about you. Tell me a bit about yourself, and I’ll get to work. I’ll draw your portrait in Adobe Illustrator, using my best judgement and perception of you based on what you’ve told me. Assume I will put about an hour into your portrait, give or take 15 minutes. So, send me your donation, which is approximately 1% of my monthly living expenses, tell me the things you think are important about you, (name, age, gender, favorite hobbies/pastimes, race, height, weight, whatever you deem important) and I’ll create a masterpiece. Want to see an example? Look no further! Here’s one right now! This person described herself as “I am a 30 yr old white female I am about 5’4″ 160lbs I am a single parent so my bigest passion is my kids but I also enjoy photography. I will be starting college soon. I’m an animal lover, love to dance, go for walks, camping, long drives to nowhere etc.” I decided to focus on the photography and outdoors angle, since I’m not very good at drawing people. I know, and I’m offering to do portraits? Ha! And yes, I know that camera would not and could not produce Polaroids. But it was fun to draw them. Click to enlarge the image. You’ve come to this page to learn more about me and my work, or at least I hope that’s why you’re here! I am a graphic artist, with a ridiculous love of zombies, science fiction, space westerns, sewing, puppies and kittens. I know HMTL, CSS, and enough about the WordPress engine to set you up right. I can do some theme customization, create an amazing logo from scratch, set up business cards, or that sales flyer you need for the weekend. I’ve designed a few tattoos. I’ve got a few more than that. I can also design a kick-ass website for you. I live in Lancaster, CA, where I spend much of my free time stitching up things to sell in my Etsy.com shop, blogging about life in general, and watching way more bad science fiction and horror than can possible be good for me. I’m on an unending quest to find a truly frightening horror movie, but so far they just give me the giggles. I’ve also been known to take a few photos on occasion. I have been working as a freelancer since 2002. I’ve worked doing vinyl sign cutting, creating screen printing designs, and embroidery designs. I prefer to work in Adobe Illustrator over Photoshop, as I enjoy the drawing aspect more then I enjoy the manipulative aspects of Photoshop, but can work easily in both. Unfortunately during my almost year long time spent at a franchise shop as a designer, I was unable to take samples of my work with me. You’ve probably noticed that many of my logo designs have been for farms, ranches, and related businesses. That’s because growing up on a goat farm, many of my connections were with other farming people. Don’t let that fool you into thinking that’s all I can do- the possibilities are limitless and I am willing to take on a variety of projects. When I begin work on a new project, I like to discuss what it is you (the client) is looking for first. Are there any styles you really like? Are there any you don’t? Can you show me three examples of existing designs that you enjoy? These things help me better understand exactly what you are looking for and help me to bring you better initial concepts to start off with- time is money, so let’s make the best use of it that we can. This is especially true for logo design as your logo is your calling card. Kittyloaf is so named in memory of my cat Lucky. Though I only had him for about three years, he made a very lasting impression on me. Find Kittyloaf Designs on Facebook, Networked Blogs, Google+, & Twitter
