Help Get Angel Dogs Foundation Back on the Road!

Angel Dogs is a non-profit spay and neuter clinic that operates from a truck moving from place to place in Southern California. They offer many programs as well as work with other groups to provide low-cost options to people who need it. In March of 2010, they launched, and in the two years that have passed, they have altered 15,000 pets. They spayed Mattie and I’s dog Sashi when she was 4 months old, and removed her dewclaw for a total of $50 after I received some vouchers towards the cost.

Right now, Angel Dogs need ours help. Their truck, the base of all they do, blew its engine, and they are looking at $17,000. to repair it. For any group, that’s a lot of money, but for a non-profit, its a decimating hurdle.

I have added several items to my Etsy shop in which at least 50% (but in most cases 100%) of the proceeds will go to Angel Dogs. Please visit my shop, or go directly to Angel Dogs’ donation page and give a few dollars. Every penny helps.

I cannot say enough good about this group and what they are doing.

Please share this post and the links with your fellow pet owners and lovers.

Animal Services

If you are in the Antelope Valley, I offer some animal-related services. These include docking, castration, and hoof trimming for sheep and goats. Below are my rates and details.

Hoof Trimming Services

$7.50 an animal.

  • If you have many animals to do, cost will not exceed $55.00 per hour. However, each partial hour up to $55.00 will be charged per animal. For example- I trim the hooves of 10 animals in the first hour, and 3 over the second hour. The total charge will be $55.00 for the first hour (as $55.00 is less then $75.00) and $22.50 for the three animals trimmed over the second hour’s time. Your total cost (not including mileage costs if any) would be $77.50 for those 13 animals.

Castration by Elastration for Lambs & Kids

$3.00 per kid/lamb

  • Kids and lambs must be under 3 months of age. Past that age is too stressful as a general rule and I want to minimize stress to any animals.

Docking Lamb Tails by Elastration

$2.00 per lamb.

  • Lambs must be under 6 weeks of age for docking.
