This was another logo design that began for 99Designs but was ultimately dismissed. I’ve made some alterations to it since then, changing and moving the text around and changing some colors.
This design will look good on either a dark or a light background, and the fireball has just enough detail to keep it interesting. Gradients are used everywhere except the outlines and the blue dots underneath the fireball.
You’ve probably noticed I am a big fan of simplicity- Designs with lots of details can be confusing to the eye and while they may be interesting at first, ultimately they are forgettable. Its like comparing a novel with a single, clear storyline to a joke book with hundreds of different jokes. You may remember pieces of the joke book, but you’ll remember all of the novel.
